World Champion Longboard Surfer

For a globetrotting world champion of surfing, Justin Quintal loves coming back to his hometown area of North Florida where he can surf if there’s waves and fish if it’s flat. 

Growing up in the Jacksonville beachside community of Atlantic Beach, Justin’s skills in the water quickly progressed and he dominated the junior contest circuit. He graduated from UNF with a dual major in business marketing and business management, which has helped him create and distribute web content through his main sponsor, Vans.

  Justin has toured the globe in search of perfect waves. He’s surfed the icy cold waters of Nova Scotia, Iceland, and Western Canada, but has also found himself in warmer climates like Hawaii, Costa Rica and all over the Caribbean.

Justin is still the reigning 2019 World Surfing League (WSL) longboard champion, but his humility and down to earth nature is why we’re so stoked to have him as a Costa
